Today we woke up and took a 45 minute drive to Sky Meadows. A beautiful state park just past Gainesville. We hiked 6.8 miles (according to the trusty GPS); Lager had a blast. Parts of the trail joined with the AT trail.
After the hike we found a great winery just a few miles down the road-- Three Fox Vineyards. We enjoyed two bottles with cheese overlooking the VA countryside. Lager was in his glory :-)
At dinner tonight (enjoying the third bottle of wine) we decided to start a blog. Through our trips, hikes and oversees adventures together, we captured great photographs and incredible memories and we want to share them with our friends and family.
